San Salvador, the biggest city in El Salvador and second biggest in Central America. The city has a population of 2.1 million, making it the most densley populated in Central America.San Salvador's population is starkly divided between the wealthy and impoverished. Most of the poorer neighborhoods are filthy and overcrowded, and are plagued by skyrocketing crime rates.
Poverty is one of it's major problems. Pollution is also a major problem, with San Salvador considered the most polluted city in central America.
